Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitia tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-7 SMA Negeri 5 Jember dengan jumlah 34 siswa. Sumber data diperoleh dari guru dan siswa melalui observasi, tes evaluasi dan kajian dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Secara klasikal hasil belajar 34 siswa sebelum tindakan (pra-tindakan) sebesar 47%, siklus 1 sebesar 79% dan siklus 2 sebesar 88%. Penelitian tindakan kelas dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching dapat dikatakan berhasil dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa karena telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu lebih dari 75% nilai siswa mencapai skor KKM atau ≥ 75
