Penerapan Media Book Widget untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas XI di SMAN 2 Tanggul (Materi Sistem Reproduksi)

Materi sistem reproduksi pada mata pelajaran biologi dianggap materi yang kompleks dikarenakan banyaknya istilah-istilah biologi didalamnya ditambah dengan lemahnya inovasi dalam pembelajaran biologi akan berdampak pada hasil belajar biologi siwa menjadi kurang baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 2 Tanggul dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan media Book widget mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas atau disebut juga Classroom Action research dengan menerapkan 2 siklus dengan 2 kali pertemuan tiap siklusnya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media Book Widget mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yang ditandai dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari pra tindakan dan sesudah tindakan, yaitu pra (73,8), siklus I (80,8), dan siklus II (87,7). Terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari pra tindakan ke siklus I sebesar 7 serta dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 6,9. Serta adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa pra tindakan dan sesudah tindakan yaitu: pra (50 %), siklus I (69,4 %), dan siklus II (90 %). Peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar dari pra ke siklus I sebesar 19,4 % dan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 20,6 %. Hasil penelitian ini juga dapat dijadikan refleksi bagi sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.
