Abstract

Adanya wilayah Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda yang luas maka diperlukannya rambu-rambu petunjuk wilayah yang dimaksud. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk memudahkan penumpang dalam mencari tujuannya. Pemahaman yang baik terhadap rambu di terminal bandar udara berkontribusi langsung pada kinerja bandar udara tersebut secara keseluruhan. Pemahaman yang rendah dapat menyebabkan kebingungan, penundaan, dan bahkan risiko keselamatan jika pengguna tidak mengikuti petunjuk dengan benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat pemahaman penumpang di Terminal Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda Surabaya. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Peneliti juga menggunakan kuesioner sebagai teknik pengumpulan data sebanyak 20 pertanyaan dan regresi linier sebagai teknik analisis data. Sampel pada penelitian kali ini yaitu penumpang yang berada di area Terminal Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda Surabaya yaitu 100 responden. Tingkat pemahaman penumpang terhadap rambu-rambu di Terminal Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda Surabaya yaitu sangat tinggi dengan persentase 30%, tinggi dengan persentase 38%, cukup dengan persentase 18%, rendah dengan persentase 13%, dan sangat rendah dengan persentase 1%. Sehingga dapat ditetapkan bahwa Tingkat pemahaman penumpang terhadap rambu-rambu di terminal Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda secara keseluruhan termasuk kategori tinggi.
