Abstract

Diketahui ada beberapa klinik terbaik di Kabupaten Jember yang menjadi favorit di kalangan mahasiswa adalah Larissa Aesthetic Center, KSC Beauty Clinicque dan Naavagreen. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui darimana mahasiswa memperoleh sumber informasi tentang klinik kecantikan, opini mahasiswa tentang klinik kecantikan di Kabupaten Jember dan kendala yang dialami mahasiswa saat melakukan perawatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan teori S-O-R (Stimulus-Organisme-Respon) dan melakukan studi kasus pada 3 klinik kecantikan yaitu Larissa Aesthetic Center, Kartika Skin Care Beauty Clinique, dan Navagreen. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa yang menjadi informan dan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mendapatkan informasi mengenai klinik kecantikan melalui media sosial Instagram dan rekomendasi dari kerabat atau teman. Mahasiswa memiliki opini bahwa klinik kecantikan merupakan tempat perawatan wajah yang saat ini dijadikan kebutuhan yang penting bagi mahasiswa untuk menunjang penampilan fisik. Dapat diketahui Kendala yang dialami oleh mahasiswa yaitu seperti customer service kurang ramah dan kurang tersampaikannya informasi oleh dokter terkait gejala yang dialami setelah melakukan perawatan. Dapat disimpulkan Mahasiswa lebih banyak memperoleh sumber informasi terkait klinik kecantikan di Kabupaten Jember dari media sosial Instagram. Sebagian besar Opini mahasiswa tentang klinik kecantikan yakni memiliki dampak positif untuk seseorang yang ingin merawat tubuh secara ekstra.
