Abstract

Tradisi lisan berperan dalam menjaga identitas, nilai, dan warisan budaya masyarakat lokal di Indonesia. Podcast sebagai media digital memiliki keunggulan yang selaras dengan karakteristik tradisi lisan, seperti narasi, oralitas, dan kedekatan emosional, sehingga mampu membangun keterlibatan yang kuat dan menumbuhkan rasa komunitas pendengarnya. Bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana transformasi tradisi lisan ke dalam format podcast berkontribusi terhadap pelestarian, penyebaran, dan revitalisasi budaya lokal di era digital, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur untuk memahami transformasi tradisi lisan ke media digital podcast, khususnya dalam pelestarian budaya lokal. Transformasi tradisi lisan ke dalam format podcast telah membuka peluang baru dalam pelestarian budaya, dengan tetap mempertahankan elemen inti seperti narasi personal, representasi budaya, dan aksesibilitas yang luas. Podcast terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat identitas budaya, meningkatkan keterlibatan masyarakat, serta mendukung ekonomi kreatif lokal.
