Abstract

Perkembangan pesat teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah merevolusi lanskap komunikasi digital, terutama melalui media sosial yang kini semakin terintegrasi dengan algoritma personalisasi. Generasi Z sebagai digital native menjadi kelompok pengguna utama platform seperti TikTok, Instagram, dan YouTube, di mana AI memegang peranan kunci dalam mengatur visibilitas dan bentuk interaksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bagaimana penggunaan media sosial berbasis AI memengaruhi kualitas serta autentisitas interaksi sosial di kalangan Generasi Z. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan berusia 15–26 tahun yang aktif di media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa algoritma AI secara signifikan memengaruhi pola komunikasi dan pembentukan identitas digital, dengan kecenderungan munculnya interaksi yang dangkal, tekanan sosial untuk membentuk citra ideal, dan melemahnya relasi interpersonal yang otentik. Fenomena ini memperlihatkan adanya transformasi nilai dalam hubungan sosial, di mana kecepatan, estetika, dan keterlibatan digital kerap kali menggeser kejujuran emosional. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami dampak tersembunyi dari algoritmisasi interaksi sosial dan menyoroti pentingnya literasi digital yang kritis. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pijakan awal dalam perumusan kebijakan dan desain platform media sosial yang lebih etis, inklusif, dan mendukung relasi sosial yang sehat di era digital.
