This scientific journal is published by the Indonesian Journal Publisher in three annual issues (March, July, and November).

The journal's focus and scope include the following areas: climate change, disaster management, disaster risk reduction, environmental science, geodesy, geography, geography education, geology, geomatics, geophysics, geospatial studies, renewable energy and sustainability, urban and regional planning, and various fields related to geosciences and environmental approaches to address human-environment interaction problems with a spatial dimension.

Two out of five articles (items 1-2) in this issue are derived from the "Seminar Nasional Geografi VI", organized by Himpunan Mahasiswa Pascasarjana Geografi, Faculty of Geography, Universitas Gadjah Mada, on September 6th 2025. This event mainly discussed climate action, net-zero emissions, and sustainable green economic development.
