Abstract

Studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dinamika psikologis seorang siswa SMK (RA) yang menunjukkan perilaku membolos yang berkaitan dengan kesulitan regulasi emosi dan konflik emosional yang belum terselesaikan (unfinished business). Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, serta tes psikologi berupa Intelligence Structure Test (IST), 16 Personality Factors (16PF), tes grafis (DAP, BAUM, HTP), dan Sacks Sentence Completion Test (SSCT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek mengalami keterbatasan dalam mengenali dan mengekspresikan emosi negatif, kecenderungan menggunakan coping penghindaran, serta adanya kebutuhan kelekatan yang tidak terpenuhi akibat kehilangan figur pengasuh utama (kakek) dan perceraian orang tua. Kondisi ini berkontribusi terhadap rendahnya motivasi belajar, penarikan diri, serta perilaku membolos sebagai bentuk penghindaran terhadap situasi akademik yang menekan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku maladaptif di sekolah dapat dipahami sebagai manifestasi dari konflik emosional yang tidak terselesaikan dan kegagalan regulasi emosi. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan konseling yang berfokus pada peningkatan kesadaran emosi dan pemrosesan konflik emosional untuk membantu remaja beradaptasi secara lebih sehat dalam konteks pendidikan
