Abstract

Di era globalisasi dan informasi yang kompleks, pendidikan menghadapi tantangan besar dalam mengakomodasi keberagaman peserta didik. Keberagaman ini mencakup latar belakang etnis, budaya, sosial-ekonomi, gaya belajar, tingkat kecerdasan, motivasi, dan kebutuhan khusus. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi peran vital psikologi pendidikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan efektif bagi semua peserta didik. Melalui analisis teori kecerdasan majemuk, gaya belajar, motivasi, pembelajaran diferensiasi, Universal Design for Learning, manajemen kelas positif, dan pendidikan khusus, artikel ini menunjukkan bagaimana prinsip-prinsip psikologi pendidikan dapat diterapkan untuk mengakomodasi keberagaman. Tujuannya adalah untuk memastikan setiap peserta didik, terlepas dari latar belakang atau kondisinya, mendapat kesempatan adil untuk berkembang dan mencapai potensi maksimalnya. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemahaman dan aplikasi psikologi pendidikan adalah fundamental dalam menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang inklusif, adil, dan responsif terhadap keberagaman di era globalisasi.
