Abstract

Digitalisasi dengan bantuan teknologi yang semakin canggih dan akses internet yang ada. Kini, keperluan manusia dapat lebih praktis dan cepat terselesaikan. Hal ini juga terjadi, karena adanya modernitas. Modernitas merupakan sebuah proses perkembangan yang tidak dapat di pungkiri di seluruh negara, tidak terkecuali pada negara berkembang. Kita juga dapat melihat adanya modernitas dengan munculnya penerapan pengetahuan ilmiah pada setiap aspek kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aspek hukum penjualan akun Netflix illegal melalui media social. Penelitian ini menggunakan yuridis normatif artinya penelitian kepustakaan yang menggunakan sumber bahan hukum kepustakaan dengan metode pendekatan Undang-undang dan pendekatan konseptual. Dalam hal tersebut peneliti ingin mengetahui lebih lanjut mengenai bagaimana bentuk perlindungan hukum bagi Netflix terhadap penjualan akun Netflix illegal melalui media sosial. Dalam penelitian tersebut peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa bentuk perlindungan hukum bagi Netflix terhadap penjualan akun illegal melalui media sosial haruslah seimbang dengan cara dapat dilakukan melalui upaya preventif dan represif.
