Abstract

Pelaksanaan Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) merupakan suatu momen penting dalam sebuah negara demokratis yang dilaksanakan setiap lima tahun sekali, di mana masyarakat berhak untuk memilih wakilnya secara bebas dan adil. Salah satu aspek krusial dalam proses ini adalah kampanye politik, yang memungkinkan calon legislatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yuridis normatif yang meletakkan hukum sebagai sebuah bangunan sistem norma. Pelanggaran yang dilakukan meliputi pemasangan baliho yang mengganggu ketertiban umum, merusak baliho peserta pemilu, dan penempatan baliho di tempat-tempat terlarang, sehingga komisi pemilihan umum memiliki peranan penting dalam menindaklanjuti pelanggaran dan memberikan sanksi sesuai dengan tingkat pelanggaran yang terjadi. Penyelesaian menanggapi pelanggaran dari berbagai sanksi hukum administratif yang dapat diterapkan termasuk paksaan pemerintahan, dwangsom, dan denda administrasi, karena kurangnya pengawasan dan kesadaran terhadap regulasi menjadi faktor penyebab, dengan implikasi gangguan terhadap keamanan, keselamatan, dan ketertiban lalu lintas.
