Media Digital dan Transformasi Budaya: Implikasi Terhadap Pembangunan Berkelanjutan

Perkembangan media digital telah menjadi katalis utama dalam transformasi budaya global dan lokal melalui proses glokalisasi, yang mencerminkan interaksi kompleks antara arus informasi global dan penyesuaian budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana media digital memengaruhi dinamika perubahan budaya serta implikasinya terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur, kajian ini menemukan bahwa media digital tidak hanya mengubah pola komunikasi dan struktur sosial, tetapi juga menghadirkan arena baru bagi ekspresi budaya dan negosiasi identitas. Di satu sisi, transformasi ini membuka peluang revitalisasi budaya lokal dan penguatan ekonomi kreatif berbasis komunitas. Namun di sisi lain, dominasi narasi global berisiko mengikis nilai-nilai tradisional jika tidak disertai dengan strategi pelestarian yang adaptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi literasi budaya dan digital dalam pendidikan, inklusivitas akses teknologi, serta etika pengelolaan ekonomi budaya untuk memastikan bahwa transformasi budaya digital berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan identitas lokal dan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.
