Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital dan globalisasi telah memberikan akses luas bagi kreator konten dari berbagai negara untuk mengeksplorasi dan menyebarluaskan unsur-unsur budaya lokal melalui media digital. Walaupun hal ini membuka peluang untuk memperkenalkan kekayaan budaya kepada masyarakat internasional, praktik tersebut juga memunculkan persoalan etis, terutama terkait cara penyajian, keaslian narasi, serta potensi eksploitasi budaya. Artikel ini mengkaji persoalan etika yang muncul ketika kreator digital global memproduksi konten yang mengambil inspirasi dari budaya lokal, dengan menitikberatkan pada keseimbangan antara ekspresi kreatif, kepentingan komersial, dan penghormatan terhadap identitas budaya setempat. Menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi literatur dan analisis terhadap representasi konten di media digital, penelitian ini menemukan pentingnya pemahaman konteks budaya, partisipasi komunitas lokal, dan penerapan prinsip etis dalam proses produksi. Penulis merekomendasikan pembentukan pedoman etik internasional dan peningkatan pemahaman lintas budaya bagi para kreator digital guna mendorong praktik produksi konten yang etis dan menghormati keragaman budaya.
