Dampak Ketiadaan Peran Ayah (Fatherless) terhadap Pencapaian Akademik Remaja: Kajian Sistematik

Keluarga merupakan lingkungan penting bagi pendidikan anak. Peran orang tua, terutama ayah, krusial dalam mendukung pencapaian akademik anak. Ketidakhadiran peran ayah (fatherless) dapat berdampak negatif pada perkembangan psikologis dan akademis anak. Artikel ini melaporkan hasil kajian sistematik artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2014 dan 2024 dengan fokus pembahasan mengenai dampak ketiadaan peran ayah (fatherless) terhadap pencapaian akademik remaja. Kajian sistematik ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak fatherless terhadap pencapaian akademik remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian sistematik yang mengikuti pedoman PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis) dan menggunakan pangkalan data internasional seperti Google Scholar dan PubMed serta pangkalan data nasional seperti SINTA dan Garuda. Terdapat 30 artikel yang diikutsertakan kemudian diseleksi dengan beberapa kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Dari 30 artikel, terdapat 4 artikel yang memenuhi persyaratan. Dalam artikel tersebut ditemukan bahwa fatherless memiliki dampak negatif yang signifikan terhadap pencapaian akademik remaja. Anak-anak yang mengalami fatherless menunjukkan prestasi kognitif yang lebih buruk, nilai ujian yang lebih rendah, dan tingkat kehadiran sekolah yang lebih sedikit. Ketiadaan peran ayah dapat berdampak merugikan pada pencapaian akademik remaja. Diperlukan intervensi yang komprehensif untuk mengatasi dampak fatherless dan mendukung remaja dalam mencapai potensi akademis mereka.
