Kekerasan seksual dapat terjadi kapanpun dan dimana saja, pelecehan sering terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, masyarakat, dan pekerjaan. Menurut Permendikbud Ristek menjelaskan bahwa kekerasan seksual adalah setiap perbuatan merendahkan, menghina, melecehkan, dan menyerang tubuh atau fungsi reprodukksi seseorang karena ketimpangan relasi kuasa dan gender, yang mengakibatkan penderitaan psikis dan fisik termasuk yang mengganggu kesehatan reproduksi seseorang dan hilang kesempatan melaksanakan pendidikan tinggi dengan naman dan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebijakan Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember dalam penerapan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Nomor.30 tahun 2021 tentang Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan Seksual di Perguruan Tinggi. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan sosiologis dan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Jenis penelitian hukum empiris bahan hukum primer dan sekunder. Teknik analisis data dengan cara mewawancarai kepada narasumber yaitu pimpinan, pegawai, dan mahasiswa Uni-versitas Muhammadiyah Jember. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember telah melaksanakan kebijakan dalam Penerapan Peraturan Permendikbud Ristek Nomor 30 tahun 2021 tentang Pencegahan dan Pe-nanganan Kekerasan Seksual di Perguruan Tinggi yaitu membentuk Peraturan Rektor no-mor/2679/PRN/II.3.AU/REKTORAT/F/2022 Tentang Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan Seksual di Lingkungan Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember.
