Peer Review Process

In the review process, IJAT involves writers, editors, section editors, and reviewers. Where in the review process, MPK applies the Double-Blind Review model to maintain confidentiality. Every submitted manuscript is checked first by the editor. If the article meets the focus and scope and the IJAT writing guidelines, then the document is continued to the reviewer to review the content and novelty of the manuscript. Otherwise, the manuscript will be returned to the author. A minimum of 2 reviewers will review each document for approximately 1-2 weeks with the criteria for assessing the manuscript as stated in the Article Assessment Form for Reviewers. Articles that have been submitted take an average of about 4 weeks to publish.

The article could be accepted without revision, accepted with minor or major revision, and rejected. The peer-review result will be notified to the authors via email. The author then has to revise as suggested by the reviewer no later than eight weeks upon notification.

To prevent plagiarism, all the articles prior to publication will be checked for originality using Ithenticate, with a maximum similarity limit of 25%
