Protes Mahasiswa Terhadap UU Cipta Kerja

Ide terbaru dalam proses legislatif Indonesia adalahhukum omnibus. Hukum omnibus, yang menggabungkan beberapa hukum menjadi satuperaturan, disebut sebagai "universum broom." Hukum Omnibus melayani tujuan yang berguna dalammenyederhanakan peraturan yang dianggap rumit, tidak jelas, dan tidak efektif. Ketidaksetujuan publikterhadap perubahan ini tidak disebabkan oleh batas waktu 100 hari Presiden Jokowi atau kurangnyapartisipasi dari banyak pihak dalam proses; sebaliknya, itu adalah hasil dari faktor-faktor pentingyang harus diperhitungkan karena mereka adalah salah satu kekhawatiran utama dari rancangan undang-undang. Berikut adalah analisis dan hasil yang didapatdari penelitian iniUndang-Undang Cipta Kerjamenimbulkan berbagai gejolak pada saat disahkankarena menimbulkan kerancuan dan kebingungan bagisemua pihak baik dari masyarakat, pelaku usaha, akademisi, pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah daerah. Aksi demonstrasi yang dilakukan untuk menolakpengesahan Undang-Undang No. 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja diikuti oleh berbagai macamelemen, salah satunya masyarakat sipil. Masyarakat sipil ini terdiri dari beberapa gerakan, yaitu gerakandari non pemerintah seperti serikat buruh, aliansimahasiswa serta elemen masyarakat lainnya. Aksi inijuga didukung oleh FRI (Fraksi Rakyat Indonesia) yang menyatukan 40 organisasi ke dalam aliansi untukmenolak Undang-Undang No. 11 Tahun 2020 tentangCipta Kerja.
